PLAYABLE CHARACTER TROPHIES:

Scorpion: The mascot of the Mortal Kombat games. This vengeful ninja wants nothing more than to lay waste to those who ended the lives of his family and clan. Be it Quan Chi or Sub-Zero, it doesn't matter which opponent he faces so long as they burn. In Smash Bros., expect that same fury to take center stage!

How to Unlock: Beat Classic Mode as Scorpion on any difficulty.

Scorpion Alt. 1: When Scorpion tells someone to "Get over here!", he means it! With just a press of the B button, players can use his Neutral Special, Spear, to drag opponents toward him for some up close beatdowns. His Down Special, Toasty!, involves burning anyone in front of him. Proper utilization of this move might lead to quite the "fatality", to say the least...

How to Unlock: Beat Adventure Mode with Scorpion on any difficulty.

Scorpion: Scorpion's use of fire in his attacks can be quite unorthodox. Case in point, his Side Special, Teleport Punch. It involves Scorpion engulfing himself in flames and counterattacking opponents who attack from a distance. Scorpion's Up Special, Spear Slash, works much like Samus' Screw Attack, but can block projectiles. However, it doesn't get Scorpion to travel far up, so be careful.

How to Unlock: Purchase at the Shop after beating Adventure Mode as Scorpion.

FINAL SMASH TROPHIES:

Anywhere Toasty!: There's nothing quite like a good barbecued meal, am I right? Well, there's also nothing quite like scorching opponents within a certain distance with flames coming directly from Netherrealm! Anyone set ablaze gets launched far up. Expect many opponents to fly off into the distance or hit the screen! FATALITY! FLAWLESS VICTORY!!

ASSIST TROPHIES:

Sub-Zero: The first Sub-Zero. As an Assist Trophy, Sub-Zero brutally attacks opponents with an arsenal of ice abilities, with many techniques potentially freezing opponents in place! Unlike most Assist Trophies, who are either invincible or have high endurance, Sub-Zero actually has his own health bar. Once it is empty, his time in battle is up. This is the only way to get rid of him.

OTHER TROPHIES:

Johnny Cage: The smart-alecky movie star Johnny Cage first believed that the Mortal Kombat tournaments were some kind of movie. He couldn't have been more wrong. As a valued ally of the likes of Sonya Blade and Raidan, he fights in the Mortal Kombat tournament to keep Earthrealm in one piece. Now, if only he could keep his marriage in one piece as well...

Kitana: Daughter of Shao Khan and Princess of Outworld. At one point, she and her father were on the same side, but it wasn't until meeting Liu Kang and learning how evil Shao Khan was that she acquired the motivation to betray him. With her iconic bladed fans and beautiful appearance, is it any wonder why she is so popular with Mortal Kombat fans and gamers alike?

Shao Khan: The mighty ruler of Outworld, and the final opponent of many a Mortal Kombat game. His brutality in combat is matched only with his love of violence and his ambitions. To allow Shao Kahn victory is to submit oneself to his tyrannical rule. Only a worthy opponent can bring him down, but only a thunder god could trick him into STAYING down...

How to Unlock: Defeat 5 opponents in Cruel Smash as Scorpion.

Mileena: The malevolent little sister of Kitana and Shao Kahn's favored heir. Mileena is actually a clone of Kitana, one that has much more of a killer instinct than Kitana ever had. Power hungry and extremely cruel, Mileena is often delighted to put an end to someone's life, regardless of the circunstances. Also, you might want to reconsider going near her mouth. It's uglier than her mouthpiece suggests!

Jax: An ally and good friend of Sonya Blade. Jax lost his organic arms after a gruesome encounter, but he got outfitted with new and improved robotic arms. Now, he lays down the law with quite literally an iron fist. If one expects to take down Jax, then prepare for a very tough fight...

Liu Kang: One of Raidan's most valued friends. Liu Kang was once the champion of many Mortal Kombat tournaments and the protagonist of many Mortal Kombat games. With his iconic Bicycle Kick, Liu Kang can lay a smaskdown like no one else. Recently, however, his life has certainly taken a turn for the worse...

Bi-Han: The second Sub-Zero. With the death of his brother, Bi-Han, formerly Tundra, became the next Sub-Zero. While initially being one of Scorpion's enemies, Bi-Han has since become a friend of his. He was originally supposed to become a cyborg, but Smoke became one instead. However, that was only one version of the timeline...

Cyber Sub-Zero: Bi-Han as a cyborg. In one timeline, Smoke got outfitted with cybernetics due to an initiative in which the Lin Quei would implement cybernetic technology into their warriors' arsenal. The same thing eventually happened to Bi-Han in another timeline, and this is the result. At one moment, Bi-Han's mind is intact, and the next, the cybernetic influence takes hold, turning the once noble Bi-Han into a literal killing machine.

Sonya Blade: Former wife of Johnny Cash. Her military training has served Sonya Blade well in the past, allowing her to survive countless Mortal Kombat tournaments. She, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Jax, Johnny Cage and Raidan worked together to put an end to the evil that Shao Kahn embodied, saving Earthrealm in the process. She has a daughter named Cassie Cage.
